Are You Up For A New Challenge?
Four (4) great rides featuring Lake Hume … full again.
The Jayco Albury Wodonga Lake Hume Cycle Challenge (LHCC) will provide beautiful North East Victoria scenery, the glistening waters of Lake Hume, friendly ride volunteers and a great range of hospitality experiences on offer. Regular LHCC riders know this is one of the best cycling weekends.
We cater for all fitness levels and abilities (15 – 80 km, flat to 988 m elevation). The 2023 event is centred on Ebden Reserve, with all rides having the same lakeside start and finish point.
Rides will be largely based on country roads and the High Country Rail Trail, including sections of gravel; and with the Lake full, feature water crossings over bridges and causeways.
The feature ride, the Bethanga Beast, is a mixed surface combo ride with some good climbing in the back half. We expect this to create a lot of interest. But don’t underestimate it.
Money raised will go to the Albury Wodonga Regional Cancer Centre.
The 2023 LHCC will be held on Sunday, 12 March, during the Victorian and ACT long weekend. A great Cycle Event – for a truly great cause.
