The Alive Pharmacy Warehouse was instigated by Member for Mulgrave Curtis Pitt and his wife Kerry, on the loss of their first child Isabel, at 41 weeks’ gestation. He founded the ride and in recent years, it has come under the banner of the Far North Queensland Hospital Foundation, which fundraises extensively in Far North Queensland.
The charity has extensive experience in hosting cycling fundraising events, as it also organises the QSuper Cardiac Challenge, a famous event now in its 18th year. Funds raised from the 2024 Alive Pharmacy Warehouse Ride for Isabel will go towards the Special Care Nursery at Cairns Hospital. Two ride options are available, to suit those of different fitness and ability. We look forward to your support on Mother’s Day, 2024.
